Taufiquar Khan
Biography:
Taufiquar Khan is a professor and chair of the department of Mathematics and Statistics at UNC Charlotte. Prior to joining Charlotte, he was a professor of Mathematical Sciences at Clemson University.
He received his Ph.D. in 2000 from the University of Southern California. His research is in the area of applied mathematics, in particular modeling and computational methods for inverse problems, machine learning with applications to the industry, including imaging. His research has been funded through the US National Science Foundation, Department of Education, and industry including Itron Inc. He was a research fellow at the Air Force Research Laboratory and was a Humboldt Fellow at the University of Bremen in Germany.
