Samantha Salvato
Samantha Salvato currently serves as the Marketing Manager for the College of Arts+Architecture, where her primary responsibilities include highlighting student life, the events of the college, and the recruitment of new students through digital marketing via social media, email marketing, paid digital advertising, and website management. As a proud graduate of The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, she graduated in May 2017 with two degrees: a BSBA in Marketing and a BA in Dance with a concentration in Performance, Choreography, & Theory. She is thrilled to be able to combine her passions in her position as she returns to CoA+A.
Prior to joining CoA+A, Sam served as the Digital Marketing Manager for Charlotte Ballet for three years. She is also a Charlotte-based creative and arts marketer specializing in social media marketing and website design and works primarily with local, emerging companies. She is passionate about supporting creators by building avenues in the digital landscape for their craft to impact society and to challenge the notion of how art can reach the public. Sam is also an active member of the local dance community, currently involved in projects with choreographers Megan Payne and Sarah Council. As a student at UNC Charlotte, she performed prestigious works by Martha Graham and Paul Taylor and performed on renowned stages such as the Joyce Theater in New York and the Knight Theater at the Levine Center for the Arts in Charlotte. In 2015, she began undergraduate research to reconstruct a lost 1962 work entitled Tracer for modern dance choreographer, Paul Taylor. Her research was presented at five undergraduate research symposiums, and she performed in the reconstructed work.
