Biography:

Edward Morse worked at the Brown and Sharpe Mfg. Co. in the coordinate measuring machine division prior to earning his master’s and Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Cornell University. He has been a professor at UNC Charlotte for 19 years, pursuing research in geometric tolerancing, doordinate metrology, large scale metrology, and measurement uncertainty. Dr. Morse serves on several national (ASME) and international (ISO) standards committees for tolerancing and metrology standards.
