Biography:
Laurel Yohe received her dual BS in Bioinformatics and Biology from Loyola University Chicago. After completing a Fulbright fellowship in Vietnam for bird conservation research, she obtained a Ph.D. from Stony Brook University investigating the molecular evolution of the sense of smell in bats. Yohe completed her NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University investigating the developmental basis of chemosensation in tetrapods.
