Dina Massachi

Biography:

Dina Schiff Massachi has written and presented numerous academic essays on Baum’s Oz and its various adaptations and has edited the McFarland collection The Characters of Oz: Essays on Their Adaptation and Transformation. She also appeared in the “American Oz” episode of PBS’s American Experience. She is a lecturer for the American Studies program at UNC Charlotte; one of her favorite classes is a course on The Wizard of Oz.
